Ella Seeger is a photographer based in Cologne, Germany. She completed her Bachelor degree in communication design at HTWG Konstanz. Currently she is studying for a Master's Degree in Photography at FH Dortmund and Danish School of Media and Journalism in Aarhus. Her work explores themes of identity, queer life, migration, the tension between traditions and breakouts and youth culture. Her work highlights the diversity and complexity of the LGBTQIA+ community and often features individuals challenging gender and sexual norms.

"They don't see us" portrays three founding members of the drag house collective "Ninja ETL" in Georgia. Ninja ETL is the youngest of 8 drag houses in the capital Tbilisi. The new anti-LGBTQIA* law, which is currently being discussed in parliament, will further restrict the visibility of the young Gen-Z collective in an already very queer-hostile Georgia. Some of the members are portrayed anonymously in the work to protect their identity, as they are not outed as queer and certainly not as drag queens.
